He's been a big part of the Flash title in recent arcs and will be at the center of Flash War. So, not really that big a deal that he's not in Titans for the time being.

Good. Titans is terrible, so its not like thats a blow as long as they have something in store for him after Flash War.

I'm glad to hear that actually since Titans has been really awful anyway and looks like it will be more of the same. I just wish Dick had been released from that prison as well.

Even if Titans is bad, his exclusion from the team is a pointed directive and creative decision about the character. Unless they have something in mind for him directly after Flash War he will be stuck in limbo, as Williamson has said Wally won't be a significant part of the book after Flash War as he focuses more on Barry and (ugh) Godspeed.

It's like saying Barry getting kicked off the JL when Hitch was writing it would be a good thing for the character. It most certainly would not be good for a character to be ousted from a team book with nothing else for them to appear in. Character inclusion, even in bad comics, shows commitment to the character from the company and writers.

Yeah, unless the characterization was hideous (which wasn't the case here), it's definitely preferable to be in a magazine on a regular basis than not.

Being part of a team is important though and he's nowhere to be found. He's also not a permanent member of Flash cast, he'll leave once the Flash War is over. And since he won't get a book, you can connect the dots.

Honestly with all the books getting cancelled, and a bunch of new books coming out, combined with the success of the Flash book over the last couple years, I could very easily see a Flash Family title spinning out of Flash War.

I can't be thrilled with this news like some are simply because there doesn't seem to be another place for him.

He doesn't appear to be on any of the other teams spinning out of No Justice, Williamson has mentioned he plans to take a break from the other speedsters once Flash War is over, and TPTB have been pretty firm in their belief that the Flash franchise can't support another book according to Booth.

I would definitely take him being part of the Titans cast over him being benched or a minor support character in Barry's book.

Eh, I want to read about Wally only. Kinda fed up with Wally sharing spotlight with other 10 characters in the past years.
