I'm always amused by people who want a comic book to fail or get cancelled simply because they don't like a certain character.
Why rob someone else of joy or wish that on them?

Normally I would agree, but I hoped Superior Spider-man would fail because I saw it as an insult to Spider-man.

I LOVE Peter Parker, but I still enjoyed Superior.

I knew it was short term and I enjoyed the ride.

For the most part I agree with you but in my book there a certainly some exceptions (cough) Holy Terror and most of Frank Millers recent works (cough) everything Jeph Loeb does (cough) Most things Mark Millar does when he's not working for Marvel or DC (cough) Bendis Guardians, Bendis Moon Knight, and Bendis Avengers. (cough) etc (cough) I think I need to go see a doctor.

Well, in my case, it was more of an internal wish so I just kind of rode out the gimmick until it was over. If you enjoyed it, all the more power to you.

I'm in the mindset of letting people enjoying what they want and not giving them crap for it.
If I don't like it... I just don't read it or lament on what could have been or how terrible it is.
If someone actually likes something, there's no need to crap all over it or wish it gone forever.
If you aren't reading it or buying it it shouldn't bother you.

At the end of the day status quo will always be restored.

I just re-watched Near Dark yesterday.

A partly good looking film, but so bad. I just couldn't deal.

I figure Condorman's the same way. I remember it being pretty bad despite lovely Europe, Mancini, and Carrera. I don't think I could take it today.

And Showdown In Little Tokyo is LEGEND. Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa is such a glorious a-hole in it.

And my all time favourite line: 'You have the right to remain silent. You have the right to an attorney. You have the right... to be dead!'

Best line from that movie: "Just in case we get killed, I wanted to tell you, you have the biggest dick I've ever seen."

Aha my one problem with the movie actually is the ending.
The transfusion stuff never made any sense to me.

Other then that I just love everything about it.
