Conan is largely happy and free, relishing all that life throws at him whereas the punisher is moody and melancholic, plagued by loss.
The only thing they have in common is a martial prowess that is beyond belief and no fear of blood!

Have you actually read the Robert E Howard books? Conan was prone to being quite emo in those books.

Some people have only read the comics and not the OG, or they would know this:
