I don't think Boomer wants to be typecast as DC's default gay guy...

Or an HBO Max show featuring a gay Alan.

I do think the third act wasn't as strong as it could have been, but the movie up to that point was pretty good in my opinion.

Well, he already played Superman .

Of course they also had Steve Lombard joke about him being gay, so ...

Batman: Soul of the Dragon is out on digital today.

I'll be waiting for the disc release. I'm eager to see it.

The art style might take a little getting used to, but it's really about how it moves almost more than the design style. Jay looks like he stepped out of "Daria" though...

To be honest I think he'd be a great voice for Hal Jordan, but what do I know.

He's already scratched the 1950s test pilot itch with Larry Trainor. I'm curious to see what he'll do with Jay Garrick.

Is he confirmed playing Jay, though?

Iris West is in the cast list, so it's possible he's playing Barry, but I think Jay is more likely.

It'd just be weird to list "The Flash" and then list "Jay Garrick" separately. It could be a time-shifting voice situation but I kind of feel like they'd keep the same VA.

Granted, Soul of the Dragon is out now so probably someone who has watched the sneak peek would be able to confirm one way or the other.

Agreed. He's an actor who can play straight if he wants, and I could see that would be maybe a bit insulting to him by suggesting he can only play what he knows. Acting is all about pretending to be things you're not, and going that way suggest he can't. Well, it would to me if I were him.

Wow, I didn’t even notice that Jay and the Flash are two separate cast entries. That is strange

I'll out myself as naive for a second: Is there a chance that this intends to actually follow up to Apokolips War? Maybe we're going to see the Barry from that movie in the act of resetting the timeline, and that's why there are two credits?

He's the only Silver Age hero listed, so maybe he's the one narrating and telling a story of the JSA?
