Also she has power over metal not rock. And what’s more the rock here are remains.

Yes, but she could have used, I don't know, a wheelbarrow or something. Obviously there is guilt involved.

We literally saw her using her powers to move rock in the first issue of this series

Polaris was manipulating the metals, Krakoa was manipulating the minerals. It was a collaboration.

Polaris has been working on manipulating the impure and finite metals in rock since the start of X-Factor. Not sure if Santos rock form had much metals in there, but if there were Polaris could feasibly move it around.

    Williams has serious storytelling problems.

Because there was a huge disconnect between the artist and writer for a lot of the issue. Pacing and structure were way off.

Metal is made out of mineral

Anyway, wouldn't it be very disrespectful to carry his body floating?

I think her issue is precision and efficiency. A more talented writer can sharpen the dialogue to where you know exactly who someone is, what they're trying to say, and still be surprised.

The more things change, the more they are the same.

I really hope some of the X-gatekeepers get killed on the Otherworld. That would mean that Rockslide can come back.

About the predictions about Doug's death :

    1) Hickman thinks he's one of the most underrated mutants
    2) Doug has been very present since the very beginning of HoX / PoX / DoX (he's even the main character of Nightcrawler's Giant-Size)

I don't see him disappearing anytime soon

Man it’s sad to see Rockslide as the first real casualty of the Krakoa era. One thing I am hoping is that this comes as a wake up call to mutantkind that they’ve been playing too fast and loose believing that they could always fall back on the resurrection protocols. With such a reveal of issues existing in it that they hadn’t thought of, hopefully they (and writers who keep abusing death) will be more careful about death.
