Switching it up a bit, to emphasize the 'demonic' part of the contest name a little more...

When Atlas went under Devil Hunter was taken to Marvel and became Devil Slayer by Rich Buckler. Chaykin did the same thing with his Scorpion character at Atlas, bringing him to Marvel and redoing it as Dominic Fortune.

It's October, and the Dow is at an all-time high. But I'll bet most investors in a 401(k) don't know who's really running things at the Federal Reserve! ALL HAIL GOD MAMMON

    Fantastic Four #222

And yes, it says possessed on the cover. Vote for me anyway. And yes I was going to use frogs, but frogs evidently came from the good guy. Who knew?

Exodus Chapter 8 1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh and say to him, ‘Thus says the Lord: “Let My people go, that they may serve Me. 2 But if you refuse to let them go, behold, I will smite all your territory with frogs. 3 So the river shall bring forth frogs abundantly, which shall go up and come into your house, into your bedroom, on your bed, into the houses of your servants, on your people, into your ovens, and into your kneading bowls. 4 And the frogs shall come up on you, on your people, and on all your servants.”’”

Damn! It will be hard! I indulged myself with that FF back issue during summer, with the X-Men one two days ago (and find out that two pages were censored in the 80s French publication) and can't wait for the 8th issue of BMM... The last two were my other choices, but I'm under the influence of Satana with the brand new Marvel Horror The Magazine Collection...

And there are probably some frogs coming...

I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:

Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.

Look at my eyes and you will see
Fire is burning inside of me
    Fire it burns
    Fire it burns
    Look at the children
    Look at my eyes
    Look at me Satan's child
    Born of evil thus defiled
Brought to life through Satanic birth
Raised in Hell to live on Earth

I have that comic. IIRC, I bought it from a second hand book seller back in the early 1980s.

I always wondered whether they were one and the same. Thanks for that.
