I don't think anyone's attempted this one yet, so here's The Umbrella Academy...DC style! The caveat here is that, while the DC folks obviously weren't raised together, they'll all be of the age where they could've been. Here we go:

The Monocle/Sir Reginald Hargreeves - Martian Manhunter (alien being living as a human in full view of the world. Would go with RJ Brande but don't think Durlans are that long lived). The twist is that he's living as Niles Caulder.

Spaceboy/Number One - Cyborg (leader-type physically altered into more inhuman appearance)

The Kraken/Number Two - Koryak (water based character with a chip on his shoulder)

The Rumor/Number Three - Omen (well-adjusted (for this group) type with the ability to manipulate others)

The Seance/Number Four - Sebastian Faust (magic-user with self-destructive tendencies)

Number Five - Karate Kid (time-displaced hero with amazing fighting skills)

The Horror/Number Six - Raven (connected to otherworldly beings that often result in terrifying physical manifestations)

The White Violin/Number Seven - Tefe Holland (gentle soul with vastly destructive powers beneath the surface)

Pogo - Mr. Tawky Tawny (animal-based assistant/support type with kinship to younger team members)

Since both have limited line-ups, figured I'd group them together.
