New Excalibur should be part of Excalibur’s legacy numbering.
New Excalibur should be part of Excalibur’s legacy numbering.
Fixed, thanks. I missed that because the wiki page for volume 3 didn't link to it (the next volume linked to was the Dawn of X one instead).
All-New Captain America and Captain America Sam Wilson counted towards Cap's legacy numbering, and Captain America Steve Rogers was ignored, when you'd expect Sam's comics to count towards Falcon (which wasn't given a legacy number) instead. Totally Awesome Hulk is part of Immortal Hulk's numbering - and of course, the majority of that series was Incredible Hulk, so X-Men didn't set the mismatched adjective precedent. ANW should count towards Wolverine's numbering - but yes, really should be included in X-23's too (they didn't use legacy numbering on her most recent solo for some reason).
And some books actually count towards more than one series - Tales of Suspense had a mini numbered 100-104, following on from a silver age series - but those first 99 issues also count towards Captain America.

Appreciation Thread Indexes
Marvel | Spider-Man | X-Men | NEW!! DC Comics | Batman | Superman | Wonder Woman
They will count whatever takes them closer to an anniversary issue.
And their bloody insistence to double ship doesn't help matters.
That's why I'm not even considering adding Fallen Angels and X-Force...even though they look stunnsational! (Thank the Goddess! everything else at Marvel sounds like trash...except Daredevil...and I gave up on DC a few months ago...so I won't be tempted to add more books than I already buy).
Oh...
And legacy-shmegacy...is it really THAT important? Considering X-fans' rather finicky reading habits?

Lord Ewing *Praise His name! Uplift Him in song!* Your divine works will be remembered and glorified in worship for all eternity. Amen!
Do we know if every #1 issue will have more pages than usual?
They're all oversized $4.99 books.
Man this is gonna be a big pain in my wallet. I want all of these comics, and I'll probably buy them... and I'll also want the trades on my shelf... alongside the big HoX/PoX hardcover coming in Christmas. I mean, damn.
Speaking of which, great call releasing the trade collection on Christmas Eve. You just know that'll be the day when the comic nerds everywhere will want the book and it'll be good for last minute shoppers. Given how each individual issue already pulled like 100K a pop without counting digital... yeah, this is a bestseller in the making.
Just happy to see Liefeld still having time to draw variants when he's so busy suing his employer.
The first and last one just highlight what a skinny poon Kid Cable is next to the OG version. *sigh*
saw larraz draw cababy again and was struck down by the psychic backlash
I don't blind date I make the direct market vibrate
can larraz just draw all the books? is that feasible? ill give him whatever he needs
