I have all of Amazing Friends on DVD. It's a delight.

"The Girl From Tomorow" is a note perfect romantic escapade for our wall-crawler, plus he gets to neck Firestar.

    Are they the UK releases?
I got the UK set with all the Hulk cartoons, and it sounds like all the voices and sounds have been slightly sped up. Not horribly, but very noticeable that Michael Bell sounds like he hit some helium before saying his lines.
Wondering if the Amazing Friends DVDs are the same...

They are indeed. Voices seem alright, but then I don't pay attention to technical specifics.

    Sweet.
Payday is tomorrow, so I think I'll be ordering them when the wife isn't looking. Heh!

Ew, Just realized the 90s cartoon probably counts as retro too.

Is Spectacular old enough to be considered retro yet?

The nostalgia I have watched pretty much all the Spider man cartoons since I was 8.
The only one I haven't seen is the 1967 one.
    Creativity is awesome.

It's a cruel world, that doesn't care for you. Which is why remember to always smile.

90s Spider-Man will always be the premier retro-Spider-Man cartoon.

outside of His Amazing Friends, I'd have to say the 90's Animated Series was easily the best retro cartoon, Got all these on DVD and watching through again still hasn't lost it's charm. CD Barnes did an epic job voicing Spidey and in my mind became the definitive voice for the cartoons.

    Yeah...20 years now.

*So I just edited my initial post and added `94 to it.

Does anyone know exactly why the `94 series has yet to have an official DVD release?

Favorite episode of the `81 series, thanks to those VHS "Marvel Comics Video Library" cassettes. Only good image I managed to find was the title card...

Well, I'm glad Amazing Friends is on Netflix, but I think all this stuff needs to be on Region 1 (or region 0) DVD by now. There's lots of nostalgia money in this. Seriously.
