-Restrictions are put on hate groups and Sentinel construction. The Avengers and other groups will stand with mutants to keep them in check.
-Enough alternate reality and time travel for a while
-Fully reverse decimation and the depowering of mutants. It's a Mutant Golden Age again
-Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver are mutants again and Magneto's children. That whole thing was a hoax and an awful change
The Nation of Krakoa I like the idea but I'd expand a bit. It's a whole big civilization.
There's 4 Regions of Krakoa
Sanctuary The largest area and overall hub of Krakoa. Where normal mutant citizens live.
Haven - The capital city of Krakoa. Absolutely no fighting of any kind is allowed. Home to bars, shops, and more.
The Academy - Think New X-Men Academy X before Decimation and the Massacre. A lot of X-Men have their squads and teaching roles. Some villains do as well.
The Embassy - Ambassadors to Earth nations and even Shi'ar meet here to keep human/mutant/alien relations peaceful. The only area non mutants can enter.
The Hall of Remembrance - Monument to fallen mutants with a cemetery.
Wasteland Somewhat barren area. Mostly lawless. Criminals run amok.
Omega - Lair of scum and villainy. A hub/bar where anything goes. Sex. Drugs. Fight Club.
Necrosha - Various survivors still afflicted roam here. Zombies make this a no go for most.
The Dwelling The smallest part of Necrosha. Filled with Underground tunnels and a giant hill.
Notable Residents: The Morlocks
The Metropolis Ruled by Apocalypse. Only the strongest or bravest may enter or stay.
The Monolith - Home to Clan Akkaba and followers of Apocalypse.
The Pens - Sinister has been given an area and is allowed to run his experiments here.
Ongoing Books
X-Council - Similar to the Illuminati. The governing body of Krakoa behind the scenes. Not heroes. Not villains. They do what they have to.
Magneto
Scarlet Witch (representative to the Avengers and magic expert)
Power House (an older Franklin Richards)
Professor X
Storm
Apocalypse (Akkaba and tech expert)
Sinister (there so they can keep an eye on him)
Callisto (liason for the Morlocks)
X-Men They deal with villains and are the public face of mutants. Different members based on the mission with a big rotating cast but the main squad is here. They leave Krakoa when needed but deal with threats home and abroad. Some new members thrown into the spotlight along with experienced X-Men.
Cyclops
Phoenix (Jean but no Phoenix force)
Elixir
Dazzler
Quicksilver
Wolverine
Archangel
Colossus
Exodus
Siryn
X.S.E. The enforcers, peace keepers, and police of Krakoa minus the Wasteland. Bishop leads his squad.
Bishop
Shard
Fixx
M
Iceman
X-23
Warpath
Lifeguard
Nightcrawler
Freedom Force Similar to Thunderbolts or even a Suicide Squad. Rogue is given command of a group of criminals. They will be given pardons for good behavior but if they are lost .... well it's no loss. Earn a second chance or die trying.
Rogue
Pyro
Sabretooth
Empath
Lady Mastermind
Sienna Blaze
Post
Locus
Senyaka
Vincente
Birdy
Academy X Drama. Romance. Sex. Action. The whole school experience. The training squads are back lead by various X-Men and even a few ex-villains. Alternating cast with the New X-Men cast. The starting main squad.
Hellion
Surge
Rockslide
Mercury
Specter
Rubbermaid
Loa
Dryad
Match
New Mutants Cannonball leads his own squad or harem. Friends. Teammates. Family. His past relationship ended he finds his new team filled with past love interests or ones who had a crush on him. Throw in his sister and best friend and you have a team. And Chamber is there too. Also swapped Lila out for Blink.
Cannonball
Sunspot
Boom Boom
Magma
Mirage
Wolfsbane
Husk
Marrow
Blink

"We come into this world alone and we leave the same way. The time we spent in between - time spent alive, sharing, learning together... is all that makes life worth living." - Jean Grey
This is not true. It was a change that fundamentally rewrote who the character is and made his history into a lie. People who liked him before were upset because of that very reason. It is the same as when any other character has his or her backstory completely changed in the mainstream universe. If it wasn’t that big of a deal, then there would be no backlash in reversing it. Still, it would be the right thing to do because it would be restoring who the character was for 60 years. If you want a version of him like this, nobody would care if it were in an alternate universe. Just don’t throw away all of the history or pretend that this doesn’t make him a completely different character.
Good Marvel characters- Bring Them Back!!!
I mean, it doesn't throw away his history, it just recontextualizes it. Alan Moore didn't throw away Swamp Thing's history when he wrote Anatomy Lesson.

It absolutely does throw away his history. Bobby has always been girl crazy and has dated several women. His innermost thoughts have been exposed showing his attraction to women. Pretending that certain panels are some sort of subtext that you have to stretch to reinterpret doesn’t change that. Your avatar has Sentry. What if there were a retcon saying that he was a Super Skrull the whole time?
Good Marvel characters- Bring Them Back!!!
Did Claremont making Magneto a Holocaust survivor bother you?
