Default OUT MAGAZINE: Wonder Woman Is Getting the Queer Romance She Deserves

    https://www.out.com/books/2021/12/07...s-new-dc-comic

Wonder Woman’s new romance will start in the second issue of the new high fantasy series Dark Knights of Steel, which reimagines the DC universe if it’s most famous heroes had been born in medieval times.

mmmmm, I don't know about that....

That lady killed a teenager like, 5 pages after that kiss...

I think a queer romance Wonder Woman disserves should be with someone more emotionally stable.

And ...of course it had to be a Super-character. Yawn.

Scratching my head at the headline.

We've seen Diana be in a relationship with other women before. She kissed Artemis in Morrison's Earth One and had a girlfriend, Kasia, in Rucka's WW: YO. Why is the romance with Supergirl, the one she deserves? Because Supergirl is more well known? Or the author just not being aware of stories that took place in WW's own book?

I would imagine it's a combination of the two. After all, both have a large media presence, so it's more clickbaity than someone the audience would have to Google like Artemis or Kasia.

I think it it more about a lack of knowledge about what has taken place before.
Plus, the whole Supers aspect that attracts a lot more attention.
The whole elsewhere aspect makes it hard to take seriously.
You can do just about anything when you are writing a fancy version of fan fiction.
Something more substantial is doing it for real in the ongoing books where you have a lived reality.

Wel... to be legit, WW on Injustice was a fascist bcs she was written like that on the videogame. Now Taylor has a chance to show if he can do better

I don't know, I like her finally having a sapphic relationship with more substance, I'll give him a chance

My thoughts exactly, certainly a mixed bag tilting towards the negative.... On the upside, no more concentration on the non-entity Steve as an (occasional) lackluster love interest.
