Surprised by the lack of support from you lot, thought this would be right up your alley.

NOBODY is under any obligation to buy this book.

But why tho?

Never mind everyone looking at what is out there is pretty much not interested. Unlike those who see a few POC or a fat girl on the cover and scream "this book will put Disney out of business."

Even in the mist of a global crisis-guess what group can't behave?

Folks want a New Warriors book with the ORIGINALS not a constant tossing in of new folks using the name.

And I say that as someone who bought volume 3 of the previous runs (vol 1,2 & 4).

My god Marvel just never learns. It is time for a new Scourge to show up but this time instead of villains he is killing off all these horrible new teen characters created in the the last 15 years.

Well someone needs to tell Joe Q that they have PLENTY of teens in limbo that needs homes. Lets stop making new ones.

Hazmat, Mettle, Rayshuan, Inferno and others could have been in this book.

In the underused characters thread we were just saying the same thing. Gravity, Anya Corazon, and Ultra Girl all came up as being perfect for new New Warriors book.

I went w. Justice and Night Thrasher as a kind of Superman/Batman of the team.
They’ve lost Firestar to Krakoa, Namorita’s MIA, Nova’s in space, and Speedball’s not ready to rejoin.

The guys set out to build a new more powerful team and redeem the New Warriors name.

They end up recruiting Gravity, Ahura Boltagon, Singularity, Victor Mancha, Hazmat, Delilah Dearborn, Alpha and Powerman III.
I went into more detail on the whys and all that, but really, it still beats what i’m seeing coming up w. this new book.

What happened to New Warriors? In the 80's and 90's the book wasn't amazing but was decent and had some good storylines like Vance and his father. But since the 00's it's been awful IMO.
