We are the Dora Milaje. We are the daughters of the 18 tribes of Wakanda. We are the teeth of the Panther God. Out of 10,000 years of sweat and bloodshed and battle are we born. We are the women of this ancient land. Deadliest of the species. And our time has come!
Preview of #13 is up. It’s good to have Coello back, he draws a mean symbiote.

It is unfortunate that the story is getting sidetracked right after the big reveals in The Abyss, but I at least hope it will be a fun silly three issues. What really worries me is issue #16 and the annual in July. Those just scream filler before Absolute Carnage.
So my initial thoughts after reading issue 13 are that it's pretty good. You can definitely notice a difference between Cullen Bunn's & Donny Cate's writing. I still think though, this should be a stand alone mini-series like what the Punisher is getting as it really doesn't further the story.

The new "Venom" suit looks pretty cool. I like that Venom immediately went after the witch that gave it to him. I think the build up at the end to reveal Jack O Lantern was kind of meh but we'll have to see where it goes.

To use spoiler tags, just put "spoil" instead of "spoiler" in the tags.

Like the above, but no spaces in the tags.
The spider is always on the hunt.
Well, the reason that this is part of the main book is that Cates and Stegman needed the time away to devote to Absolute Carnage.
If this arc was going out as a mini, the main title would just be on hiatus for a couple of months.
But hey, if you're going to have a fill in team on Venom, this is a really good one. Cunn certainly knows his way around Venom's world and Coello is (to say the least) no slouch on art. Overall I dug this issue quite a bit. This is shaping up to be a fun arc.
Anyone who skipped this issue because it is a War of the Realms tie-in missed out on a genuinely good book.
