Gwen looks so out of place next to all the 90's.

The art looks improved in general.

Still not really my taste, but improved.

she really wants to go by Gwen Stacy in the 616 that's just asking for trouble. Also didnt she attend school here in a past mini or something what happen to that ID?

Just what I was thinking - when she enrolled at Empire State, shouldn't the documentation have been created then? I was wondering at the time why she didn't use an alias though, because as Gwen says here, and said when she first took the Ghost-Spider name in the series you're referring to, Gwen Stacy is a ghost. Logically, people should be querying why she's using the identity of a dead girl! Though there are several legit reasons, one of which is the truth (her being from another universe). People might think she's a clone, or a resurrected mutant.

I wonder if this is why the other spiders have an early guest appearance? Surely one of them knows someone who can create the needed credentials for her (Miles could get Viv Vision to do it, hacking is one of her powers, and Vision himself has government connections).

They're really doubling down on the "ghost" thing, though I guess if she's stuck in 616 (again) that's what she effectively is and none of the support structure she had the first time.

Looks like she’s going back to her original hairstyle from her first couple runs, lately she pretty much morphed into 616 Gwen.

I think that might be because one of her earlier artists as Ghost-Spider was Takeshi Miyazawa. He seems to have a problem drawing bob haircuts. Silk started with long hair but was bobbed during a fight with Black Cat. Miyazawa is one of her later artists and he gave her longer hair again. He also drew a fair chunk of G Willow Wilson's Ms. Marvel run, and Kamala's hair looked longer there than it did in Avengers - most subsequent artists have understandably gone with what the solo was doing, and the same was probably true for Gwen, the previous artist gave her longer hair so so did later ones.

We probably need to see her hair out of the hoodie.

Variant cover by David Marquez for Spider-Gwen: Ghost Spider #1. This is a surprise cover that was sent to only a few comic shops that ordered the first issue of this series.

Really sells how she gets stuck here and not by choice.
