That is although he still dresses the same, he comes bearing gifts; a plastic bag, an electric pencil sharpener, shards of glass, a metal spork and razor blades masquerading as candy. Criminals have never had such a bad day. Their torture is extensive, relentless and yet creative. Their deaths are slow and very necessary. Everybody dies sometimes and Rorschach is hoping to get lucky tonight!

I'm about....to drown. They have all abandoned me. It begin with the mission: Lead "super-villain" prisoners on a covert operation in Qurac. We were there for disarmament of weapons of mass destruction and destruction of their oil reserves. Our unit includes martial artist, transporter and black-op Nightshade who I trusted with my life. The marksman with a deathwish, Deadshot. The pyrokinetic gangbanger Diablo. The volatile yet playful psychopath Harley Quinn. The man/shark hybrid King Shark. The genius teleporter Chunk. The dangerous weapon specialists Boomerang and Slipknot. The deadly underwater high-tech tactician Black Manta. Rustam our double-agent working within Qurac who's a former terrorist who wields a mystical sword. I was prepared to activate nano-explosives implanted in all operatives due insubordination or treasonous action. We arrive under the cover of water and darkness and Manta awaited our return in his ship. Nightshade gives us access inside the enemies base. Rustam has eliminated and discarded the guards from the inside. King Shark eats the ones that are left behind. Deadshot, Boomerang, Slipknot and I takes out enemies at a distant, while in shadows of Nightshade. She then transports Chunk to the oil fields and he uses his teleportation to remove the supply from Qurac to an undisclosed facility designed for massive storage. Diablo and Harley destroy or render useless their arsenal of missiles. This was the point where everything went sideways. It was the moment where true nature of the criminals I was baby-sitting is revealed. While most follow my lead, Boomerang, Harley and Slipknot start a mutiny, however blowing up Slipknot's arm as a warning ends that revolt. Diablo goes nuclear, King Shark goes beastmode and Harley goes on a killing spree. Deadshot stops all incoming enemies except the one in our group...Rustam. He offers all of us an offer to betray our government and join the Quraci forces for financial gain or die. I signaled to King Shark and he makes a Lunchable out of Rustam and Deadshot dispatches all the other opposition. Alarms were blaring, Nightshade opened a portal to our exodus point by the water. I make sure no one is left behind. As we swim to Manta's ship, Boomerang stabs me in my spine and Manta has disabled the explosives implanted within them. The bastard paralyzed me and the others just watched. Their final looks back at me show regret for some, laughter for others but mostly relief for being free. As I descend into the dark water for final time, I'm not afraid and look forward to my next adventure....

Then. The highly respected and loved Kents raised an alien as their own child and groomed him into becoming the greatest hero on Earth. Lionel Luthor fathered 4 children, one was illegitimate and one died in infancy under suspicious circumstances. His firstborn Lex was a genius, ambitious child who was always trying to prove himself to a father who neglected him and a mother suffering from mental illness and depression. The daughter Lena suffered with a debilitating childhood illness that led to partial paralysis for most of her life. It was a household full of dysfunction, betrayal and lies. Now. After political and legal manipulations Metropolis Mayor Lionel Luthor has the long missing Superman declared legally dead. His small private memorial and funeral are only attended by friends and family from both Metropolis and Smallville including the Daily Planet's Perry White, Jimmy Olsen, Lois Lane and Clark Kent (?!?).

With Superman gone and the Luthors at war for control of Metropolis. Lionel has all the vast resources and tech of LuthorCorp. He has also recruited Volcana, Metallo, Warlock, Titano, Bloodsport and Maxima to remove his son from Metropolis permanently. However, his best ally may be his new personal assistant and bodyguard Mercy Graves, but who's side is she really own. Lex now has majority ownership of the Daily Planet. He has a media campaign exposing his father's many secrets and scandals, at the same time spreading fake news to destroy Superman's legacy. He has the Super-mobile and has Toyman reconstruct it as a war machine. More importantly, he has the "keys" to the Fortress of Solitude, which is now his HQ. He has recruited Live Wire, Bizarro and technical wiz Chloe Sullivan, but who's side is she really on? As the 2 Luthor factions face off and the "city of the future" becomes a warzone, in a hidden lair Lex reveals his secret weapon..BRAINIAC! Meanwhile, BIG TROUBLE is heading to Metropolis and Supes is no longer there to save it, but there are others!

He was to be used against Russia's enemies, however he decimates it's Peoples' Heroes and Rocket Reds as well as China's powerhouse team Great Ten. Laying waste to every living creature in his path, Doomsday makes a beeline to the invisible Gorilla City. It's as if he's targeting all potential threats to him. The hi-tech primate society and it's two powerful opposing leaders Grodd and Solovar are unable to stop the destruction of their city. The beast continues to the island of Themyscira leading to the death of countless Amazons. Their gods abandon them to their fates as if Doomsday is a prophesized being of biblical and mythical proportions. He is the Ragnarok, Apocalypse, Kali Yuga and Revelations. Atlantis is next in his path as Doomsday descends deep into the oceans and it's King Arthur aka Aquaman is prepared. However, the he along with Mera, Aqualad and an army of Atlanteans and giant sea creature are unable to vanquish the monster. A King and his kingdom are broken. He arrives on Ellis Island as an immigrant who's only dream is death to all. The military led by Captain Atom are nothing more than a brief distraction. The JLA is missing (see LEGION OF DOOM), however Power Girl, the Manhattan Guardian, Firestorm, the Titans, Batgirl and Blue Devil stand as last line of defense to New York. They soon find out that nothing can stop Doomsday. He reaches his final destination, Metropolis. The City of Tomorrow and home of the world's greatest superhero.
