Zod looks absolutely horrifying. Honestly impressive that he's still moving around regardless of how hardy Kryptonian physiology is.

He is officially now as ugly outside as he is on the inside.

Outside finally matching the inside! It's nice for a brief change.

This issue really didn't do anything but we had to get Zod his new army/ship somehow. Like, it could have been 2-3 pages. Lol.

    Still loving it, though.
"Has Sariel summoned you here, Azrael? Have you come to witness the miracle of your brethren arriving on Earth?"

"I WILL MIX THE ASHES OF YOUR BONES WITH SALT AND USE THEM TO ENSURE THE EARTH THE TEMPLARS TILLED NEVER BEARS FRUIT AGAIN!"

"*sigh* I hoped it was for the miracle."

Dan Watters' Azrael was incredible, a constant delight and perhaps too good for this world (but not the Forth). For the love of St. Dumas, DC, give us more!!!

Yeah, this is one of those issues that you can't really say much about. It is well executed and fits with the overall style of the series, but it is really like only 2 pages of plot progression.

Three simple words: Zod versus Sinestro! The sins of the fathers burn like a cosmic wildfire in both of their hearts! Only against each other does that rage find full expression—but will they destroy the universe before they can destroy each other?
Zod vs. Sinestro sounds fun! I don’t think the two of them have ever interacted.

Could this lead to a titanic cosmic team-up?
