I'm expecting a big time-skip post-Secret Wars so maybe T'Challa Jr. could be the lead. Maybe.

I hope whoever writes the next 616 solo is good at writing Superhero comics.

They’re gonna have to do it in a way that won’t make the other characters old as hell as a result. Maybe the whole stasis thing they did in Hickmans Secret Wars?

The only time I can think of when hiring a writer that didn’t like T’Challa paid off was Priest who disappointed when it was offered. But he understood that he needed to make the character cool and completely misunderstood by readers and the MU resulting in an influential character defining run. Meanwhile modern writers treat him like a problematic obstacle in the way of what they really want to write.

These new writers not only dislike T'Challa, they absolutely despise everything he stands for and his entire being. They are just as bad if not worse than some of the worst white writers that have written him.

We need Redjack straight up he had a proven track record, he likes T'Challa, and he Will bring him to new heights

That was the problem with the last three solos. Characters were introduced to be a mouthpiece for the writers at the expense of T'Challa. All these characters were there to "teach T'Challa a lesson" or point out some "failure of T'Challa" and that's what the whole run was about. And none of these runs gave T'Challa any moments. No feats, no get back, just lectures.

That's why we despise these runs. No T'Challa fan wants to read about that isht.

That's why I said a dark reign style purging is needed. No one cares about these characters other than the writers

.... all of this really makes me appreciate Youneek Studios and other independents even more.

It's just superhero comics without the BS and agenda.

I found myself reading The Oloris and EXO comics and , while not perfect, i know what i'm getting.

EXO shoots robot cannon fodder and beats the villain without a lecture.

That's it.

I pray that company doesn't pivot from their current direction.

Amen to that. Get rid of all of Coates characters (except the MA to avoid backlash) and all of Ridley’s characters. The core supporting characters we need are Shuri, Ramonda, and Okoye. We also need to bring back Taku so that he can be the “guy in the chair” role instead of Shuri and someone who can be the face of the Hatut Zeraze since Akili is dead now.

Feels like t'challa could easily justify it to the masses too

Well, yes, but my logic for him has to do with several factors:

1. Actual law-enforcement experience. That's useful for turning a secret police force into Wakanda's FBI.
2. An outsider's perspective. He's not tangled up in tribal politics (and likely has little patience for it).
3. Since he took the HSH, he can act as T'Challa's proxy for dealing with internal threats while he's off Avenging stuff.
4. He already HAS a neat white outfit, albeit one less flamboyant than Hunter's. (I still say that knife was mounted upside-down, tho).

I'm not sure he should take the name White Wolf, though. Maybe Ghost Leopard.

Do we still even have Doras around in any significance? Maybe they need to drop the whole Dora Milaje and Hatute Zeraze groups and create one unified unit under a new name.

Facts they all need Jeph Loeb Ultimatum bloody styles deaths especially the MA, Chang, any character created by Ridley , Ewing, TNC & his buddies. Also Hunter can go with them. Off the top of my head I’m only sparing Shuri, QDJ, Queen Mom, N’Gassi, Okoye, Taku, bring back Zuri, S’yan & W’Kabi.
