Hence me saying he wasn't a full fledged X-man, because the team with Hellion and X-23, Surge etc was a team that he was affiliated and a member. They weren't "X-men" but juniors in training.
Frenzy was a X-man but again I'm not sure if she is African American.

She is but she's a female. Storm would be the first female and one overall though as she was born in the US, despite growing up in Africa. I think her father is originally from NY

Synch was definitely the first and pretty much only depending on how you view Cloak and the Dark X-Men.

I wouldnt consider the Dark X-men actual X-men bc they were a offshoot team created by Osborn, not affiliated with the actual X-men. Cloak would become one in Utopia but he falls under the same generalization as Prodigy

Yeah, her birth name is Munroe. IIRC she was canonically born in NYC.

Which team Synch should go if he was allowed to be part of one of the 3 main books?
Since he was in the heroic X-Men team, I can see him being in Simone's book.
But at the same time, he may be in a darker place after Talon's death and want to be in the more mutant defense oriented team.
And of course his power would make him a very good fit for the teacher team too.

So I don't know. When I'm replacing other team members in my head, he ends up in the Alaska team, buy all 3 choices seem valid to me.

Still no confirmation on Ev being in Gail's book....=/

No news at all yet for Ev. Unless he ends up on X-Factor looks like Synch will be on the sidelines for the relaunch.

Not necasarily. Gail Simone's full cast has not been revealed and he could turn up there

After the latest issue of X-men, Synch's arc with Laura ends quietly. Then again, I'm reminded Jubes and Monet feels the same way when he sacrifices himself on Gen X # 70 a long time ago.

Now with Blood Hunt starting, will Ev get involved in the Vampire Nation's war? There is still nothing on him Post Krakoa and the waiting making me anxious, so I assume he''ll show up on X-men Unlimited in case there isn't a plan for him on Brevoolt's era. *Sigh*

That or I hope he'll at least be leading a second wave book or something. Biggest long shot hope is that he's getting a solo!

Exceptional X-Men
NYX - they say it's not a team book but there are a bunch of mutants in it.
X-Factor
X-Force

So unless they plan on bringing back X-Caliber, Uncanny X-Force or Uncanny Avengers, there's no team left for Synch (or Bishop for that matter).

Ev should have been on an X-Men team because I don't see him as a fit on any of the other teams based on their premise. Maybe they will introduce an all new team name with him as the leader. It's a long shot but there's nothing left.

I definitely hope that they don't try to kill Synch again. I am hoping he survives the Krakoa era or perhaps, down the road we get a second chance at the Krakoa era. I do like the idea of a mutant nation ora safe haven for the mutants.

He could be in X-Factor. They will be dealing with mutant resistances and Synch led one in Fall of X.

Perhaps, but after building his profile like they have been, what's the strategy behind waiting to announce Synch in a line up. I feel that's an after thought type of move. Furthermore it can telegraphs the intention with handling Ev. He deserves so much more than this. I clocked out on X-Men when I saw writers ineptitude on portraying Everett in a way where you don't even feel weight of a man that spent close to a century planning and battling a city full of super enhanced humans and their A.I. This is exclamation point to the statement of how black male mutants are treated by certain writers in X-office. Nothing much is changed.
