Been a decade since Hickman wrote peak Avengers.

Been 37 years since peak X-Men.

    ‘Events’ are dog shit.

Avengers and X-Men should rarely meet.

Jed McKay is doing a good Avengers series. Jason Aaron's Avengers started out okay but really suffered towards the end.

Agreed McKay has me interested again in the Avengers, had totally dropped the book after collecting it weekly since New Avengers first started under Aaron who was dreadful.

I would hope for a legit Uncanny Avengers series again at some point with it being truly the A flashship title of the MU.So many different characters and interesting dynamics you could have in and ongoing with Emma/Tony,Tony/Gambit,Colossus/Black Widow,Nightcrawler/Hercules,Nightcrawler/Thor,Cap/Rogue...ect and going back to established bonds like Iceman & Spider-Man along with Beast & Wonder Man.

They have better characters to follow now. Not that D-Man isn't wonderful or cute. But once they're exposed to Hellion, they'll thank us for it.

Look, Doctor Doom can get a slice of the pie here. You need to trust me on this.

Bah! Doom needs neither Avengers' nor Hellion's approval for a slice of the pie as Doom himself owns the whole bakery

    spoilers:
.....but Doom still appreciates the gesture.
    end of spoilers

The Avengers had nothing to do with Marvel selling the rights to the X-Men or Spider-Man. That was a corporate decision for a company facing bankruptcy.
