    In the sky and the streets of Metropolis, humanity’s champions fight for the safety of the world!

    BRAINIAC APOCALYPSE #2
    Written by JOSS WHEDON
    Plot by SHAGGYDOO
    Art by SARA PICHELLI

    All technology has been corrupted by him. All information has been accessed by him. There is no privacy or secret identities. He sees all and knows all. For all intents and purposes Brainiac is a god.
    • His only weakness is he's a creator without imagination or ambition. A soulless machine that only thinks with logic and no emotion. His council is Superman and Lex Luthor...he wants what they have...beautiful minds. His attempts to assimilate or merge with them may create the ultimate Trinity to reign over the multiverse. The Man of Steel and Luthor must take down Brainiac with a subversive betrayal that he will not analyze. The problem is Brainiac tech is embedded all over the world and beyond, his presence is now integral for Earth's survival and his removal may mean it's destruction.
    • A secret cabal of Luthor, Cyborg, Constantine, Grodd, Supergirl, Tomorrow Woman, Power Girl, Green Lantern and Superman 1,000,000 have a dangerous plan to end the Brainiac threat. Cyborg has copied and stored all Brainiac info into his systems and has anti-Brainiac virus setup by Lex. They send Black Lightning to shutdown power in Brainiac's main server. Meanwhile Superboy, Kamandi and group of young metas (Young Justice) race to destroy all Brainiac Tech with the anti-virus, but they have the obstacle Superman now fully compromised by Brainiac nano-tech. This Brainiac Superman is inhuman with no conscience and a completely unstoppable machine of destruction. The android Tomorrow Woman makes the ultimate sacrifice facing this invincing duo threat. Power Girl is jettisoned to her proper universe, Earth-2. It's up to Supergirl to reach his heart and Grodd to reach his mind. Supergirl offers herself to Brainiac freely. Like a airborne disease Brainiac was transported to Earth along with Supergirl, they always had connection mentally and Kara wants to be the one to lead to his destruction.
    Ultimately, it is Superman's will and mind vs a relentless tech god who has the whole world in his hands. Even if he ends the Brainiac Apocalypse, what will it mean for the world's, intelligence, national security and future?

    "Brothers": Part Five

    • After a night of searching, the Kryptonian trio find the Intergang agents responsible for Ron's death. Of course, the humans are no match for Clark, Zod, or Faora and are dispatched quickly. Zod handles the questioning, and two of the agents turn on the trigger man. Zod burns them alive, and takes the trigger man by the throat. Clark screams in defiance, stopping Zod from killing him. Distraught over the murder of humans, Clark lectures Zod. Confused, Zod drops the man and races back to the Kent farm. After delivering the man to Metro P.D., Clark and Faora follow.
    • Across town, Lois sits at her desk. Writers block has taken hold, and she looks upon Clark's desk, wishing, for the first time in weeks, that he was around. She decides to get back to the alien ship story...
    • Back at the farm, Zod chastises Clark for undermining him in front of his soldier. Clark tells him things are different on Earth than on this Krypton he's heard about. Zod tells him that it shouldn't be, and excuses himself from the barn. While Clark ponders how to proceed, Faora reveals herself from the shadows. She's impressed that someone would stand up to the general and, removing her clothing, offers to join with "Kal El, the only suitable match to continue our species." Before he can stop her advances, she presses her lips to his. Just outside, Zod has seen everything...and his eyes burn bright with jealousy...
