"Guardians of Nothing" Part 2
The Guardians have a new line-up and a new leader! Lilandra now leads a team of Major Victory, Mantis, Bug, Rocket Raccoon, Nikki, Charlie-27 and Starhawk! Much has changed since their return to normal space and chief among them is the Shi'ar overthrowing their Spartax overlords! Lilandra's siblings D'Ken and Deathbird are the rulers of the Empirium but little else information is known about the status of the Shi'ar Empire. As harsh as the Spartax were, Lilandra knows her brother and sister can be even more cruel! Now aboard their new base ship the Millennium Falcon, the Guardians head to Shi'ar space to find out what's going on. All the while, Mantis has been getting premonitions, small flashes of things that could potentially happen in the future, things that may go wrong. However, far in back sits one who knows exactly what is going to happen and how bad it will end. Will Charlie-27 tell his teammates what lies in store for them?(Bet you thought it was Starhawk didn't you?). Next issue brings the return of someone the Guardians haven't seen in years!
