As the other Abstracts disappear, he informs Death of the success of his mission: he has retrieved the Nega-Quantum Bands! She tells him that he must take them to the only person who can wield such power, the former Protector of the Universe Quasar! Before he departs, has approaches his former master and they exchanges glances and very little words before the Surfer and the others take off again. When asked by Mistress Death what that was all about, Galactus tells her that he and his former herald were exchanging their final goodbyes as they may never see each other again!
