With the timelines restored from the alterations caused by the Infinity Stone it’s now the 16th of April 1961… and buried along with Havok, Cyclops and Magneto in cyro-sleep so that they will be awakened in the 21st century when their fellow Brotherhood of Mutants allies rescue them. ‘60s Charles and Erik don’t have much time to rely on their encounter with Erik’s future self however as they find themselves drafted by the CIA to join the paramilitary group Brigade 2506 for a mission that will take them deep into a Communist-occupied Cuba in an attempt to overthrow its regime. Charles and Erik aren’t exactly happy to be there, but they have a secret reason for coming, a very powerful mutant has been located on the island, and they cannot let them fall into the hands of Sebastian Shaw. Meanwhile, the Stone has changed the concept of reality so that in this timeline Jackson Ealy and Holland March (The Nice Guys) have never met – as they’re not supposed to meet until 1977, and as far as history is concerned, everything is back on its normal path. Or is it?
