That you don’t understand that any better than you understand sarcasm?

    Not a shock.
Again, I don't think that's the way the forum works... People that disagree with you will quote/reply to your comments (and vice-versa!). We are all participating in the same forum/thread and, as long as we're not insulting anyone, we can all comment each other's posts. It's a forum, not private messages.

And obviously this is all going off-topic...

I have noticed that people here don't seem to like the discussions about me. I try to go with less responses to the personal comments, but I don't think anyone is suggesting that the policy of the forum should be that we get to insult one another, and they don't get to respond.

If you make a point about a policy in a public forum, sometimes I'll respond to it.
Nope. I and multiple people have made specific points. You have ignored them. You are not interested in actual discussion. And I’m asking you AGAIN to stop posting at me unless you want to address the points that have been repeatedly raised by multiple posters across multiple iterations of this forum over the years.

You ‘just asking for specifics’ is one of those games.

So, no. I’m not playing your stupid games.

Again, the opinion of someone who doesn’t understand sarcasm or boundaries doesn’t matter to me, much.

Biden says he will cut off offensive weapons if Israel invades Rafah

President Biden said Wednesday that he would halt the shipment of U.S. offensive weapons to Israel, which he acknowledged have been used to kill civilians in Gaza, if the country moves ahead with a long-planned ground invasion of Rafah — the first time he has threatened to withhold U.S. military aid, and the most direct threat he has made in the seven-month war.
Biden made the comments during an interview with CNN airing Wednesday evening, according to excerpts released by the network.

“Civilians have been killed in Gaza as a consequence of those bombs and other ways in which they go after population centers,” Biden said in the interview, referring to 2,000-pound bombs supplied by the U.S. “I made it clear that if they go into Rafah — they haven’t gone in Rafah yet — if they go into Rafah, I’m not supplying the weapons that have been used historically to deal with Rafah, to deal with the cities — that deal with that problem.”

Biden has long been reluctant to impose consequences on Israel despite rising pressure from prominent Democrats to condition or suspend aid altogether. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has repeatedly defied U.S. demands on major issues, despite Biden’s staunch military and diplomatic support of Israel’s assault in Gaza.
Biden and his top aides have expended most of their energy in recent months trying to reach a weeks-long cease-fire in exchange for the release of the remaining Israeli hostages, but diplomats and those familiar with the discussions say hope is dimming that a deal between Israel and Hamas can be reached. Netanyahu has vowed to forge ahead with a Rafah invasion regardless of whether there is a deal.

I wonder what Trump would have decided if he had been president at this moment… “Let them fight” or “we keep our weapons for the defence of our country”?

Israel could decide to go very fast, a “blitz invasion”… It seems not to care about his relationships with his allies.
“Strength is the lot of but a few privileged men; but austere perseverance, harsh and continuous, may be employed by the smallest of us and rarely fails of its purpose, for its silent power grows irresistibly greater with time.” Goethe

Trump would support Israel and what they are currently doing 100%.

As bad as Biden as handled this situation (and he has handled it very badly), Trump would be much worse.

We would disproportionately lose extremists I think. More likely to be loud, cocksure, and ignorant.
Yet black women almost in unison votes in a way that benefits them and other disadvantaged communities, while white guys keep voting for the party cutting billionaire's taxes.

Many goods will not go down. Deflation is actually a risk for an economy. The point is that it does not matter that the cost of coffee was 48 cents a cup in 1960 as long as wages keep up.

    2. The ability to make passing a Civics test mandatory for voting can be abused. Legislators will come up with the standards, and they can use in ways that increase their support, in addition to making sure that their people are the ones making with their thumb on the scale if there's any question.

There's a notorious example of a literacy test asking people to spell backwards, forwards.

If it's someone friendly, any answer is accepted.

If it's someone on the other side, they'll use pretext to exclude any answer, by saying they were meant to spell the word backwards, spell the word forward backwards or spell the words backwards and forwards.
The actions of the majority of white male Americans in the past few elections show that they do not understand politics as well as black women do.

I suspect that once the tell-all books are being released, many of you "Biden is handling this very badly folks" will reassess that.

It's called satire. Maybe not the most clever satire, but satire nevertheless.
