It depends on how they do a political book.

I'd like to see Storm try to establish another mutant nation, say on Genosha.

Yeah, that logo works well. It gives off a sense of power.

But I don't like the logo. She needs a new one.
Yeah, I’d love for them to make a logo riffing off the classic Cockrum headpiece, or something. This logo is a “classic” but it doesn’t really vibe with the character.

I'm pretty wary about this as they could end presenting us the fugly design shown in the Women of Marvel and the Dazzler variant cover... just better be prepared for the worst.

Wasn't the whole point of X-Men Red was that she didn't want to be a queen?

My guesses for writers are Stephanie Williams (Nubia writer and did an X-Men Unlimited arc or two) or Nnedi Okorafor (Shuri series and sci-fi/fantasy novelist).

Not quite. Storm didn't want a throne on Arrako for very specific reasons. In the beginning of X-Men Red, Abigail Brand was trying to use the throne as a way to make Storm a deified pawn, and to subjugate the the Arakkii. While she didn't know the depts of Brand's machinations, she knew she didn't want to impose her will on the people, erase their culture and create one of her own. Being a queen there would have done that. She destroyed the thrown not because of she didn't want to be a queen, but because she recognized they needed a different kind of leader. She formed their Brotherhood to work along side them for protection, and helped shape a new vision for the culture of planet as a ruling member of their council.

Man lets just keep X-men Red and keep it moving. I don't see Jean nor Stormy keeping a solo book for long.
Hickman was right!!!!!!! Long live Krakoa

They've tried Mutant Nations like 3 times, it never works.

Will definitely be buying Storm and Phoenix and maybe some of the other solos too.

There’s this idea that X-Men solos don’t work, but if we buy and support them, we can turn that around.

Maybe the greater world treats Storm as a queen representing mutantkind whether she wants the title/role or not. Then she has to become a de facto leader of a nation less people.

Storm was destined for this role as leader of all the Mutants. Finally we are getting a fair-minded paragon of virtue in this role instead of the usual crackpot terrorists and megalomaniacs.
