The agreement also provides Disney with the opportunity to reunite the X-MEN with the Marvel family under one roof and create richer, more complex worlds of inter-related characters and stories that audiences have shown they love. It only makes sense for Marvel to be supervised by one entity. There shouldn't be two Marvels.

I think Storm maybe stepping in to replace Thor, I think he will ask her to step in and take his spot. The current Avengers line-up has 7 members. Adding Storm makes eight and McKay will want to keep it to a manageable level. Plus like I said, they needed another female character for the team.

I hope it's not long term because I do think Storm belongs with the X-men. But she also deserves a proper stint on the Avengers because her previous one wasn't it.
I'm a bit bummed that Synch is not the one joining because he definitely had more to gain from the exposure.
We'll see how this goes and how McKay can differentiate Storm and Thor's roles so that they can bring different abilities to the table.
