"Had the opportunity to get a commission done by Pat, so I figured unmasked Spider-Man Beyond. He designed the Beyond costume after all. The only real direction I gave him, was to make Ben happy. His character after the Beyond arc is miserable and unrecognizable. I appreciated the background he added, which was definitely a surprise."

What’s weird about that callback is in the Spidey/Batman crossover they live in a shared universe (Gotham is just another city in the US that Pete travels to), but in Marvel/DC they are from two distinct universes that are part of the multiverse. So it renders the original impossible, but somehow it’s still canon? *shrug*

Yeah, pretty much. It's been teased for a long while that the Joker is aware that he's a character in a comic book. "Super-sanity," I believe Grant Morrison called it at one point.

Still no info about Chasm Curse of Kaine and the August solicitations are about to drop. I guess it'll be in September at the earliest.

At this point they may as well smack the Chasm story under the ASM book. It’d just be three or four issues without Peter and Covid on Ben and Kaine.

At this point, with Land already slated to draw ANOTHER book and no sign of anything of Curse of Kaine at all - not even a single drawn page as proof of existence - calling it MiA is no longer a stretch.

I get the impression your legit question would be ignored in favor of Lowe finding someone wishing completely unreasonable things on his person for editing a comic book that has content said person does not like, and replying to said comment wishing said person a good day.
