Miles Morales: Ultimate Spider-Man Appreciation 2024

He doesn't need to be on the level of Doctor Strange or Voodoo, but just enough to deal with the likes of R'ym'r or Blackheart or whatever magical/supernatural enemy he ends up dealing with on his own.

I like to think of Miles as being like a character in an RPG who's dipping into other classes to learn different skills. He might not be completely mastering them, but he's learning enough to be useful to him.

Him beating Blackheart was already pretty ridiculous.

Based on that analogy, what would you say Miles' current class is?

I think with Miles' base abilities it's natural to want to class him as a rogue, like in the Champions' Weirdworld arc. But, with his affinity for martial arts, I think he could be multiclassed as a monk.

That's what I have in mind too. Miles as a renaissance man type of hero that doesn't necessarily specialize in anything, but has experience in many different fields so that he's never completely out of his depth.

Thank you, I think it makes for a good long term character status. It gives him a wide range of story telling potential and even meshes with the mentorship thing going on in this run as long as the teachings are actually diverse.

I'm pretty sure that the Blade that is causing all of this is actually Varnae the first vampire disguised as Blade. And the real Blade is the one we saw talking to Miles and had to turn him for some reason.

end of spoilers It makes sense with everything we've seen so far because why would Blade send Miles to the Sanctum Sanctorum if he already went there. It can't be to fight because unless the vampire boost is absolutely insane there's no way Miles is winning a 9 vs 1 against the people gathered there.

And while he might be under Mentallo's influence the date was still cute.

Apocalypse set Miles up with that in Marvel Dark Ages, so who knows. lol
