Just coming off of his weak performance across this entire era, it's sometimes harder to give it the benefit of the doubt.

That was one of the most heartbreaking Spider-Man stories I'd read in this past decade. Excellent final issue of Spectacular Spider-Man from Chip Zdarsky, though.

That Dazzler-themed Spider-Suit could be good with some tweaking. Maybe make it a hard-light-based Spider-Armor or something.

I agree. It's one I actually have wanted to see adapted in a fan film. It was such a heartbreaking story but it was also very showing of the kinds of things Spider-Man deals with as a street level hero. It doesn't always have to be supervillains. Sometimes it's just the people down the street. And that's something a lot of Spider-Man stories get away from with all these big events and such sometimes.

I would like this cover more if the roles were reversed. I'm done with Spidey constantly being punked by that amoral Wade. Peter should just lay him flat and warn him to stay away- period.
