Default Brian Michael Bendis Jumps Ship

    https://www.cbr.com/brian-michael-be...FB-P&view=list

So after thoroughly making a mess of the Marvel Universe over the last decade or so, Bendis has jumped ship to sign a DC exclusive contract. What do you all think about Bendis leaving all these O5ers stuck in the present with no reason or explanation? Where did Bendis hurt you?

The damage, and there's a lot of it, has already been done. I can't help but wonder what drove this change. Was it mutual? Was Bendis running out of runway at Marvel? Regardless I wish him and DC the best of luck. Hopefully this will begin a turnover of creative staff at Marvel that can start to right the ship, but maybe I'm jumping the gun.

Bendis said the only way Emma and Scott would ever get back together was if he was gone. Just saying .

I dont see why him being at Marvel or not has anything to do with this. His hands havent been in that pot for some time now. If they do go back it'll be a coincidence, not having anything to do with Bendis at DC. Xmen Blue and the news of teen Jean Grey returning have already set the stage for this

This should be interesting. Can't say it impacts me one way or another - I don't read the guy's books and he's not well-versed enough to know any of the characters I really like exist.

    Are....

    Are you....

    (Well)

    Are you, um....

    Are you sure?

Are you sure you won't miss him?

    (Not even for a second?)

    Come on!

    Not even for a second?

Come on, you know you will miss him for at least one second.

    (Right?)

Way to leave us with the giant dumpster fire that is the 05. Can we just kill all of them now that he is gone? Feel so bad for DC fans

I know people aren't a big fan of his UXM (it wasn't the best but I enjoyed it), but this still seems like a blow for Marvel. Like it or not, he was still one of the big names.

And h s no longer part of the X-men, so they would've been gone by now if it was all him. And it wasn't all him either, it was editorial that pitched it.
