    Default Weapon X #11 Preview

    https://www.cbr.com/weapon-x-11/

Looks like Logan & Laura's plan of talking to the Weapon isn't going well.

And Marvel is really getting lazy -given the typos. 1st Deadpool says "Went" instead of "When" in recent chapter. Now Old Logan tells Weapon H "When I cut our your spine."

This really irks me. I’m sorry, but when you’re in the publishing industry mistakes like this are inexcusable. I’ve noticed it in other titles as well, and it stands out like a sore thumb and really detracts from the experience.

I can't take more of this Hulkverine plot. This book is a waste of time already.

It’s horrible. Everything about this is just awful. Logan’s dialogue doesn’t even sound like OML. At all.

Well this chapter is the conclusion of Weapon H for this book, then it gets it'sown spin-off. Meanwhile this book will move to another arc.

I consider this book elseworld, so I don't get mad. It does not seem to acknowlegde anything else.

OML acts just like young Logan. Creed is like he was before inverted, but less violent. He did not comment on ANYTHING he did with the Avengers or X-men in the last years. Warpath does nothing and his powers are totally wrong (flying and strong healing factor? c'mom!). Since the end of the crossover with awesome Hulk, Lady D did nothing interesting. Domino is funny at least, but that's it.

And this Weapon H is the most unlikable character ever.

    Laura has been...acceptable, at least.

I'm trying to consider this book non-canon given how bad Sabretooth has been written...Like I say, he's the Meg Griffin of this book.

I have seen complaints from a Few who thought Domino came off dumb / bimbo-like. And yeah, Lady D hasn't done much of anything either.

pak SAID he gonna explore Lady D & Creed's morality -saying it's interesting to have characters who can go from villain to hero & vise verse. But so far, he's not delivering..

This team has done nothing to make you care about them. ALL the focus has been on Hulkerine & Cyborgs. Nobody has gotten any development. Except the teasing of Domino x Warpath. Otherwise, all the characters are stale.

But this is apparently one of the best selling books coming out. So it's a minority who aren't impressed with it.

That's how Logan has been acting in all his other books, except his solo.

Warpath may not have had a healing factor, but he's always been able to fly. Blaming Pak for your lack of continuity knowledge?

Why would Creed need to reference things that happened years ago? He didn't reference his days of the Uncanny Avengers when he was on the Bunncanny team. Pak can't force things in the story just for the sake of it.

When Creed was with the Bunncann team, Gerry Duggan had him guest star in Deadpool, and it was there that Rogue mentions Creed got kicked off the Avengers team. Then in Civil War II, Sabretooth tells Psylocke that he's only with Magneto because nobody else would have him.

His time as an avenger may have come up, but we'll never know because Bunn didn't get to finish his story. He also said Sabretooth would have a romance, an issue with Psylocke, would come to see Magneto's team as family, and that great tragedy was waiting for him. But sadly for Bunncanny Creed fans, none of that got to happen. So we missed out on a lot of ground that was gonna get covered & great character development. And instead we've skipped straight to this crap.

For what I know (and you may correct me if I'm wrong), Warpath flied during Loeb's X-force and that's it. Sice then, in Brubaker' X-men, Kyle/Yost's X-Force and other appearances, he never flied again. Even because, this flying thing has nothing to do with the character, at least for me. So I know that Pak brought it back for some reason, but it seems just wrong. And the healing factor just makes it feels like Pak is lost with the character.

"Blaming Pak for your lack of continuity knowledge?"... You could have said this in a more polite way, but I'll try to believe this is just your way to speak with people here.

The Creed thing I said is necessary to contextualize the character in his state of mind nowadays. Since he is writing the character so different from his previous appearances, it makes me believe Pak is just ignoring what happened before. If he wanted the character to be like before, he should have done that in panel, in an elegant way of writing. And if he continues to be inverted, he would have said something by now about him not being the same as before. A lot of characters are speaking to him like he is a villian, and he should say something about that. The way Pak writes him, we are completely lost about a very important thing about Creed.

pak has said contradictory things. In interviews, he says Lady D & Creed are the bad guys of the team. But in another interview, he says Creed is still sem-reformed. So evidently, the inversion is still in effect. I swear I remember Domino telling Creed not to harm or eat anyone, since she doesn't know how a reformed bad guy would act.

So Creed's still inverted, but it hardly seems worth mentioning, since pak's not doing anything of note with it and still writing him like a kill-happy villain -with everyone on the team talking down to him.

pak just took a cheap short-cut. Grow Creed's hair out, because a time-skip would've had to happen for that. Then just make him bad again without having to show the slow transition Bunn had planned.

I don't remember this dialogue you're saying, but my memory is not that great for little things like that lol. If that's the case, I wish he would seem more "inverted".

I was kinda liking the book in the crossover with Hulk, but I wish that plot would be over by the end of it. It is so long now I lost all the interest I had.
