It’s a scientific experiment. The problem statement: How does an obese man riding in a flying sleigh drawn by eight flying reindeer travel around the world in a single night? Lunella Lafayette needs to discover the answer and when Lunella needs an answer, she finds it.
She knows science is unable to explain this, so her hypothesis is that magic must be involved somehow. For that she must seek out the second smartest there is, Valeria Richards, who has some experience with magic.
Can the two smartest people on the planet answer the question of how St. Nicholas does it? What’s the shortest route to every home on the planet? How does he get in and out of each home? How is his surveillance system and judgement software superior to even Val’s Uncle Victor’s? And most importantly, what happens to all those cookies and milk?
