Character age debates can go on for pages, so I’ll just concede the point (especially as I think you may be right). Marvel’s time scale is a ponderous thing. But my point is that they’re all a bit old to be considered a junior team.

Why is it that everybody seems to like Northstar much more than Aurora?

Is it that she seems to be only about her personality disorder and that makes her boring? that she was never an x-men (I think)?

She gets seen as the crazy spare twin more often than not, and most writers seem to go out of their way to make her one of two extremes: a one-note victim or callous and unsympathetic.

In OML, we see Jubilee holding alcohol on her hand. Unless, Lemire screw up her age, lol. Still funny that in that scene Jeen has a soda, haha. Since, in EXM we see Jeen with alcohol next to her. Come on we all know that was alcohol :P. (I still think the editors deaged Jeen after EXM ended.)

I like both Northstar and Aurora, though I do view Aurora as a supporting character than a main one. I wish they would've gotten different powers. I think JM would maybe get more love if she did.

Also in the new GenX she tells Dani something to the effect that booze has no effect on her anymore. I think that’s where a lot of the age confusion comes in.

It probably wouldn't last long, all things considered, these days. But hopefully it'd be REAL good, while it did, and be remembered fondly for it. Beneficial for the characters, too, in the long run... pun intended. ;D

We don't know if that was soda as Jeen says "Don't be such a party pooper old man." so it may had been alcohol also outside the us like in Britain and probably in Madripoor as well people can drink at 18 and Jeen seemed to be that age roughly.

Also for some reason in X-Men Blue Jeen looks older than Cyclops for some reason.
