I'm going to miss this series.

I am too. M/M-Plate complaints aside I think this series has been fantastic. Really grew to like Benji and Quentin and remembered why i loved Chamber, Jubilee, Bling, and Husk.

You know it makes me a bit sad seeing all this effort go into helping Quintin, but characters like Hellion are left out to dry and on their own.

I really hate how "important" he's being made. a Phoenix host is not something that gets thrown around

I feel the current push is that Jean Grey is the one true Phoenix host and all others were flukes/standins.

Jean is (almost) back, and she ain’t about to give up that Phoenix belt just yet.

And as for Quentin being given a pass for an awful deed, well let’s just say that sound judgment has always been a bit of a weak point for the X-men. Historically half their core membership has either turned on them at some point or has been a former enemy.

I think we can safely say the books aren't in sync. Which explains Jean in Blue when she's dead in her solo (which has one issue left) and Jane Thor in books in April (Venomized and Avengers) when she's supposed to die in March.

The author said she didn't know about the Thor story when she wrote the first arc of gen x, so this is her way of tying it in, since he didn't display any of his Phoenix powers in the first issues
