I'm still not enjoying the consistent Peter slamming (especially as someone who wishes the Parker Industries theme would have continued, if a bit downsized), but on the bright side...

YES! NO MORE SPOCKINGBIRD!!! PLEASE, LET IT STAY THIS WAY!!!!

Don't get me wrong, understand Peter/MJ is going to be a pipe dream while Slott's still at the helm, but at least let him get together with a girl who respects him and doesn't mock him to his face while he's suffering.

I guess the favor is that Loki will cast a spell to make the world forget about Parker Industries so that Peter will have a somewhat easier time starting over.

Yeah, but he's still setting things up. Knowing his track record (and that of Marvel as of late) there's going to be SOME excuse for why they're TERRIBLE together and SOOOOO HAPPY that they broke up.

Also I didn't know Loki was Sorcerer Supreme, that's weird.

Since Peter has his own apartment, it's now plausible for Spectacular to be happening after Secret Empire.

Well, in issue 298 that guard does say "No kiddin'?" when Peter tells that Spidey used to be his bodyguard, could be just another way of "Oh really?", but I'm probably overthinking it.

Would be weird if there was another memory wipe, since Strange said it was a one time thing, guess it's once per Sorcerer Supreme .

Makes me wonder how many memory wipes were used in Marvel, I know of 3 so far, one used after Jessica "died" in her comics to make everyone forget her, which was undone, OMD/OMIT, and the one used for Daredevil to get his secret identity back, wonder if there are more.

There was one used in a late-'90s Iron Man annual, I think, in which Tony Stark erased the knowledge that he was Iron Man from the world's population.
