Default Who has killed more innocents throughout the years: Namor or Batroc?

The villain that Captain America punches or the villain that Captain America hugs?

Problem with that is that Namor is like the Hulk in that the number of people they've killed constantly changes depending on the writer.

Not looking for a specific number. Just a general idea.

If Namor kills more people than Captain America villains, doesn't that make Steve a bit hypocrite?

Wasn't there a thread on these boards at one point where posters were listing the number of people each hero has killed? Or maybe I'm thinking of another board. Jean Grey/Dark Phoenix was at the top of the list, but Namor was in the top 10, if I recall correctly.

Namor killing people is never as cut and dry as some make it out to be.

Just as T'Challa constantly being written to actually cause more harm than good to his people is not as cut and dry.

Well written Namor, is a Namor where you have to consider his actions from multiple perspectives and question what is Namor underlying truth in this moment that he is not divulging.

I really like marvel's royalty and each ruler has there thing that makes them more complex than what is on the surface.

Context matters. Cap was also buddy buddy with a bunch of Allied generals in WWII, whose orders were probably responsible for many more civilian deaths than either. If they can get a pass on, say, Dresden and Tokyo and other such strategic bombing because it was a time of war, then Namor would presumably get the same benefit for actions taken as part of a war as monarch of Atlantis.

Wasn't Namor invited back in the 90's before the so called mass murders? A better question would be why did X-Men Red invite him to join?

How many of those generals were superheroes? The Avengers is a superhero team.
Namor the Sub-Mariner, Marvel's oldest character, will have been published for 85 years in 2024. So where's my GOOD Namor anniversary ongoing, Marvel?

Exactly. And the chain of command doesn't stop at the generals.
