I wanted Creed to leave after this arc, so I could see him written by someone else, who's at least moderately decent.

But sadly, my wishes of him getting out of Hack's clutches aren't coming to fruition. But OML gets to leave when he's one of the characters Hack hasn't completely derailed.

She's basically been wallpaper who hangs out in the background & occasionally has lines. If you're not familiar with her, this book won't help you understand her. Not to mention Pak randomly classifying her as a mutant, rather than a cyborg. Pak says Deathstrike has some kind of big story coming in chapter 22.

This book's good if you just care about action / fights. If you want a solid or deep story with solid depth & development of the characters, then you will be disappointed.

My work is done. I have turned quite a few people off from reading this. lol

On a serious note, yeah. Deathstrike is lumped in with the other mutant characters of the team, and labelled as such. But no shock she's messed up. Everyone is. Warpath has a random Healing Factor in this series that he's never had before in his existance. He's able to fly in this book, which has been shown before. But a recent chapter had him needing to wear flying wings like the non-flying characters to get around. So...continuity is really bad when a writer can't keep his own rules straight.

The book's also great if you don't know any of these characters. Then you can't tell they're all screwed up. lol

Not big on the art for this one. The interior art is better than Pinna, but still not very good. The cover looks like two psychotic Christmas elves fighting over a set of steak knives.

Looks like a decent setup for a brawl though.

The cover looked like two demonic skeletons fighting to me lol Also agreed. I hated the art as soon as Pak released that spoiler pic of OML around a month ago. And yuck with all the guys' lips. Look like super model lips stuck in an ugly kissing pose.

But this art will only be for 2 chapters before Cinar comes back for the next arc.

Looks like he is. He's already gone from Gold. When Astonishing ends it just leaves his solo. They're definitely phasing him out.

Sidenote: both Weapon X and Blue have dumped the Marvel Legacy branding.

No it isn't on point. Pak did the thing where he picked the team members and writes them out of character to make them fit. Wolverine and Sabretooth were acting like they were in a buddy movie. They should be trying to kill each other at every turn instead they just insult each other like their buddies.

Also that cover art is shitty. Another thing Sabretooth should kick OML’s ass. It is supposed to be hard for 616 Wolverine to beat him. OML is supposed to be weaker than 616 Wolverine. This fight is the most exciting thing of the series. I would like the fight to take a whole issue.
