Yeah, this was a good issue.

Although dissapointed with Magik's performance and the whole training setup considering the huge power buffs Iceman and Magik have of their own and the rest.

Magneto shouldn't be THAT hard to defeat as presented here.

Bobby forgot he can freeze at Absolute Zero and make decoys etc and Magik didn't think to use many of her magic power against him. Yet they still got mopped LOL
I guess NO X-men will ever learn Magneto's tricks....I think he's supposed to be unbeatable to the X-men.

This Guggenheim arc is better than his work in X-men Gold, imo, but not enough to spend money on.

Rogue would touch him and beat him.
She did this already.
She could repeat this in DR (when he is weaker).

and even in the 90s should could break from his powers.
with wonder man powers that should be easy.

At this point, Rogue is so massively powerful, she has already rescued Mags and gone toe to toe with a celestial. If you haven't been keeping up with UA, you may not know how powerful she has become.

That DR room exercise is babysitting for Rogue.

I’ve been UA since issue 1. I know how powerful she’s become, but honestly it wouldn’t matter Magneto will always find a way to win.

Which is funny that Bobby makes the comment Magneto has been beating them since he was twelve. There are a good handful of Mutants that have the power to beat Magneto. And You’d think by now those Mutants would have done so already. Nope. I don’t think the X-Office wants that.

This book has been getting better, i think only because of less kitty. I also i like Ink and Armor

I am big fan of this new team. BIG FAN! I like their poses. Amara is my favorite new mutant, Ink was my favorite from young x-men, and armor is of the younger x-men. Rogue and Iceman are my 2 favorite characters. Illyana is always great, she fits on any team.

I do not think bad writing could even ruin this team for me. Ive liked the dialogue so far. I hope Kitty stays in jail. Its where she belongs. Put her back in limbo.

This is team drill, not for the vets to just beat Magneto up. It would make sense for the vets to just win, the point is win as a team.
