Strange has said in the past that Illyana had an extraordinary ability to manipulate time in the past. I wonder if that was just an older version of the cat in Limbo or was that some kind of time manip spell?

And, being a cat lover myself -- yeah, I gasped in horror at the notion of that poor kitten going to Limbo -- but the Illyana-enthusiast in me laughed, and I CHOOSE TO BELIEVE that Illyana's got a solid handle on what she's doing so that kitten didn't have to brave/survive the wilds of Limbo's murderous landscape and simply aged that precious boo boos so she could fend for herself.

It was a very funny scene anyhow.

That's how I choose to view it, too, though the cat's face upon its return looked a bit... traumatized. At least we know Illyana cares more for animals than she does for Anole.
