Oh I agree that it got better, but still feels 'thin' and like everything is slightly off...could get better as the storylines start to come together. The whole 'bimonthly' thing could be done better.

I agree again. Bunn can't see past his love affair with Magneto to actually service a wider story beyond him.

He keeps promising/saying "I have this great thing for Emma coming up" and then we get something like the Secret Empire tie in.

I still dont get why Magneto's powers are broken, he wasn't a host to the phoenix, or had a major battle with it...or how he became the moral voice of mutants.

Bunn’s Emma is weak yeah. So are his Jeen and Lorna tbh. Briar and Danger are really the only ladies he’s consistently delivered with which is too bad since I really loved his Betsy and Monet in Uncanny.

A handful of heroes were blowing up fully-populated worlds like two years ago. Odinson and Deadpool were serving under a Nazi regime for a good few months, which put the Inhumans in internment camps and deported mutants. Everything that went down in Civil War II. Magneto killed hundreds of thousands in Fatal Attractions. Bishop committed multi-universal genocide to track down Hope. The Royal Family, under their own jurisdiction, let a toxic gas permeate on Earth, killing off many mutants and leading to mass hysteria which lead to even MORE deaths.

All of them were judged by the readers for that. Carol Danvers and the Inhumans have a hatedom bigger than their fandom due to CVII and the murder cloud. The current Bishop isn't even the same person that commited genocide because everyone knew that there was no coming back from that.

Namor is a mutant that used to kill human civilians when he threw tantrums. Jean Grey's seeks cooperation, diplomacy and respect between humans and mutants. Having Namor on her team goes completely against what she preaches and the dumbest Marvel civilian should be able to see that. The only way this would work is if Taylor ignores continuity, which he seems to be doing, but I won't do.

There have been multiple Marvel books over the past few years that have dealt with "collateral damage"...if you think heroes and villains fighting in highly populated areas results in 0 deaths you're fooling yourself.

If you can't see the difference between "collateral damage" and "deliberating targeting civilians with killing intention", there's no conversation.
