Remember in Empire Strikes Back (***thankfully a Disney/Marvel property these days so we can avoid any litigation from that reference***) when Yoda trained Luke in the ways of the Jedi on Dagobah? Well Nerds, just replace that swamp planet with the Savage Land, alien symbiotes for the force, but try as he might Flash Thompson doesn't quite have the earnest heroic Skywalker quality, and well...Eddie Brock, a Master Yoda ain't he. But still, you get the point. Eddie attempts to help Flash contain his new lethal Carnagey powers that are more accustomed to killing first and not asking questions later thanks to its previous host, a walking murder machine. They spend their days meditating, sparring with dinosaurs and various sabre-toothed cats, catch their dinner - dunkleosteus isn't half bad over an open flame, and your general alpha-male jungle bonding. But in all their shirtless zen glory, they failed to notice some of the wildlife acting increasingly suspicious, growing in number and closing in on their camp. Skrulls can masquerade in many forms, like prehistoric beasts for example. This particular group is a military death squad with one mission on this planet - kill Eddie Brock and obtain the living alien weapon he is attached to. The fact that there happens to be two symbiotes within their grasp now, well let's just say somebody is going to get a helluva promotion IF they can pull this off.
