"We come into this world alone and we leave the same way. The time we spent in between - time spent alive, sharing, learning together... is all that makes life worth living." - Jean Grey
Ms. Sinister can control their mutations and perhaps them as well.
• Project: Mothervine has been unleashed, and new mutants are emerging all over the world!
• Even though these new mutants cannot control their powers, MISS SINISTER can!

In the end I don't think that it'll really matter how many die as remember Magneto murdered thousands of people years ago and that's barely mentioned at all now when he released that pulse and all...someone with a name that people will recognize might get killed just to show that Mothervine is bad...maybe Mothervine brings Madrox back...or Scott...not how it works I know but some odd form of them maybe...
Unus + scion = descendant of Unus. Fans have long speculated Scott Lobdell was trying to be clever with her naming and powers to suggest a connection to Unus but no other writer took up the bait for 25+ years. Or she might be Greek.

Is it bad to hope Mothervine goes through?
ehhh IDK. Bastion didn't really have an actual "philosophy" besides create mutants, then kill mutants. It's really only Emma who we can reasonably agree with. She really wants the best for mutants and her entire role post-Secret Wars has been geared towards the betterment of mutantkind (and avenging Scott but we'll ignore that).
I'm sensing...
... TWO different themes here, with STRONG support!!
The art is terrible and ugh the return of the fake O5.
What happened to the new Polaris team?
