Ey, this is cool! I'm going to post it in X-Men Are Not Alone: tributes, plagiarisms, coincidences

Because I was an XTAS watcher that liked Gambit and Rogue and this is the comic that drew me into reading actual comics.

    Best Covers New Mutants edition:
Indeed those Classic NM Sienkiewicz covers deserve an appreciation of their own. Even the corner boxes were masterpieces....

And now....breaking my "no dialogue needed on a good cover" rule....

That earl-ish Chris Bachalo cover art for Generation X is amazing. I still very much like him to this day but his earlier Vertigo-esque style is still unrivaled for me.

One of the benefits of CLASSIC X-MEN/X-MEN CLASSICS is that since it was a reprint series, and the spoilers of the stories usually known as part of history, the artists were allowed to find different angles to tell the story contained in the issue rather than play it straight as cover artists for the original tales would have been bound to...

Shows how much of a threat Juggs was.

a TRULY dangerous foe gets intermingled with another. Psylocke sheer terror was real, even with Rogue voguing unconscious.

I still to this day love this cover.
