Because despite himself doing bad crap. Magneto is still sort of a good guy as far we know since he's working with Blue. Unless there's been some kind of change but from what it seemed like with O5 Jean Grey it hasn't.

And what in the hell would he even want with Logan's body? Adamantium? Pfft. There's a shell of it he forgot to pickup then.


He's not the Hand, so necromancy is probably not gonna be on the list. And he's not type to defile an enemy's grave. Even though they were enemies, he has utmost respect for Wolverine and all the X-Men.

No telling what the future holds. But Jordan D. White did say he preferred Emma, Magneto, and Sabretooth as villains because we don't have enough awesome villains to start turning them all good. He also noted Daken as a terrible person & was confused when I used him as an example for characters who get more pass than Sabretooth.

So all these characters being depicted as more villainous / antagonistic probably isn't a coincidence. So we got Magneto, Sabretooth, and Daken for villains here.

He did a poll on his twitter and fans clearly dont want Magneto going back to being a villain. Anti hero at best was what won and Jordan seem surprised...lol. People pay to read Magneto...nobody wants that to get devolved because editors are lazy in creating villains.

I’m hoping it’ll be like the last few issues of the all-female XX-men series, where each of the characters gets to narrate an issue from their point of view.

I suspect we aren't going to see any books directly influenced by White for probably another three months. This probably was in the pipeline when he got the gig. Though I wouldn't be surprised if X-Men: Blue is the last we see of Magneto kinda-sorta working with the X-Men for a while.
