Fan Cast an X-Men Cartoon

I've been seeing a lot of speculation if the Disney deal could lead to a new X-Men animated TV show. While that remains to be seen, I though it would be interesting and fun to speculate on who could bring the characters to life if and when a cartoon is made and compare ideas.

So, if you were in charge, what cast would you assemble for an X-Men cartoon?

I'd like to see them do an animated series that was of good enough quality to appeal to more than the 8 to 18 year old crowd.

I say go adult, fully formed O5 and expand and contract the cast from there. I think one of the biggest thrills of the 90s show was Morph's death. So after we get emotionally attached to one, they die via sacrifice, let's say, Angel. He can later be resurrected by Apocalypse/Sinister as Archangel. So my original cast would be;

Cyclops
Jean
Iceman
Beast
Angel - > Archangel
Xavier

After all that drama or during it, we add (all adults) Storm, Nightcrawler, Dazzler and Wolverine. Additionals don't have to be that exactly but I'd definitely start with the O5.

I was thinking which actors you'd like to see playing specific characters. So, I guess both.

I don't really know voice actors, but that seems to be the easy part as voice actors are much easier to get right than live-action actors.

So instead I'll say what team It should be.

I like stories where the team gets built up throughout, so it will start with just Xavier. He then recruits each member of the team in similar ways to how he did in the comics, the team would be made up of popular and classic X-Men.

That will be the "05" of the cartoon and more X-Men would be added as time goes on.

This would be good for the New X-Men kids. Take the spotlight off the oldies but goodies and herald in a new age. At least for the cartoon. Vetrans can be used in cameo's or as instructors.
