They announced Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 tonight. I'm guessing Panther will be back (he better not be DLC like in MVC Infinite).

The fact that we have Wolverine and Sentinels prominent in the trailer tells me this won't have the same illogical production decisions that plagued MvC Infinite.

I was kind of surprised Panther wasn't in the last group shot.

Though I honestly believe Liss is the best BP writer since Priest, I'm not sure I'd put him on Mt. Rushmore. His run was very well written... but I'm not sure I'd actually agree he contributed much to the franchise. It didn't sell well, and didn't really add much to the mythos that stuck around after it ended.

Not really Liss fault his contribution didn't leave a lot to build on, since the premise was so far outside of his regular status quo. But as well written as his run was, I'd say it's lack of commercial sucess and world building for the mythos probably puts him on a second tier rather than Mount Rushmore.

Still one of my fave runs though.

That's pretty awesome news. I was a big fan of those Ultimate Alliance games. I may have to actually buy a freaking switch now.

The art is no Daniel Acuna, but I thought it is still pretty good and not jarringly different in style. I'm guessing the colorist remains the same, which certainly helps maintain consistency.

I have no interest in reading the book due to the writer but I appreciate good art when I see it. Kev Walker is solid.

Almost anyone would feel like a step down from Acuna. And the fact that it's a switch on thr middle of a story makes it a but more jarring. But yeah ... in a void the art is solid enough.
