Some repaints of Scarlett from the Snake Eyes movie.

Marvell2100: I so agree with CliffHanger2!
The figures look like them came with those colors! You have mad painting skills!
I always wanted to try and repaint some, but am scared to ruin the figure. Also, what kind of paint and where to buy it?

Those are some great repaints. Cant tell it was not a factory job.

Thanks. Game Stop had a sale on clearance figures, buy 1 get 2 free so I bought some extra Scarletts and a Baroness. I picked up some relatively cheap acrylic paint and brushes from Michaels. I also bought two finishes, one gloss and one matte. The one thing I learned was to make sure you get good, quality acrylic brushes so that you can paint good lines and edges. The hardest thing was not getting paint on the face or any other part that I didn't want painted.
Thanks, I really appreciate it.
I'm going to do some kit-bashing next.
I forgot to mention that I also bought some clear primer. That helps the paint to spread and adhere to the plastic better.

Thought I would post this. Below is a pic of some of the product I used. The small bottle on the left is Testors' Glosscote. The tall bottle in the middle is FolkArt clear primer and the small bottle on the right is Testors' Dullcote.

Like I said earlier, I would definitely invest in some quality acryilic brushes.
