If not straight Laura would be bi, as she has liked Hellion and teen Warren, yes people can change and all but it would be terribly sudden for that change...

When people come out as gay, it's not a "change". It's just coming to a realization that sometimes takes a while because young boys and girls are most of the time basically "taught" that they're supposed to like the opposite sex. Then you have denial and so on that can delay it further (see Iceman, for an X-ample).

In Laura's example, there's also the fact that she was robbed of a normal childhood and didn't socialize much until recently. I'd buy that it would take her a while to figure these things out.

I mean.. Quicksilver and Crystal did. And while Quicksilver’s mutant status was recently retconned, you know the idea of him being whatever he’s supposed to be now was not even a twinkle in some writer’s eye back then. And I’m confident that he’ll be retconned back to being a mutant at some point, probably once the Fox/Disney stuff is completely done.

You are right. Kurt's resurrection. That panel is particularly when Storm first sees him. I think they had it so that she was not able to control the elements in the afterlife(in contradiction to other similar situations in the past, such as when she defeated Death in the afterlife to save T'Challa's soul), and Kurt saves her from zombie pirates or something. Bleh. I think Kurt is too much of a little brother to Ororo for romance.

Preferably Mercury, who she’d actually have a shot of having of a happy relationship with. Jubilee is a popular ship partner but they had more of a sisterly relationship if anything. Plus she’s with Jono.

She reverted to type and tried to hand him over to Apocalypse and the Skrulls. Later on, they ended up on a space station together, and she tried to kill him.

In Claremont's X-Men: The End timeline, though, she got pregnant and had his daughter.

The relationship with Roxy was poorly set up by Wood and subsequently never really developed by anyone else. It’d be easily dropped.
