Found it...
Being an Xman sucks lol.
Proof-that-the-x-men-have-the-crappiest-lives-of-any-fictional-characters
There have been a bunch of recent timeskips to boot
One year between Spidey fighting Scorpio before CWII and then again in London.
2 months between IvX and the start of X-Men Blue.
3 months between the start of Red and that scene in the beginning with the full team.
There's also the undetermined period of time Captain Hydra ruled the United States.
It's annoying, honestly.

During Hydra America, Spencer and Brevoort correctly realized that putting numbers and timestamps on these things just causes pain and will be contradicted soon anyways, so they intentionally didn't say anything about it. Maybe we should just yell it into the streets, "never use exact time measurements in a universe with a sliding timescale and a million books."
This issue made me feel like the X-world was a 'world' again, which was nice. I hope I keep this good taste in my mouth.
If you're confused as to why people say they want one thing and then make a 180 and that evidence is coming from another thread,...why not take that inquiry to those in that thread instead of this one?
This pretty much sums up the Xmen/Marvel experience. Even today.
Fans like to use "classic" versions of characters to justify how they should/shouldn't act or look, but forget that their beloved portrayals were created from a white male perspective of what a (insert fav. character) should act like.

I think Stan's 3:1 ratio might have worked back in the 60's-80's, but it doesn't hold up over the long haul. Something closer to 4 or 5:1 is probably more accurate at this point. Jean, Warren, and Bobby were still looking very spritely in this recent Uncanny #1. I think its been closer to 13 years for them than 16, but we're just splitting hairs at this point.
Let the flames destroy all but that which is pure and true!
Yeah, as a child/teen I used to think that it'd be cool to be an X-man because I'd have cool powerz and stuff. Now I realize that I'd be like young Emma Frost as I'm heavily involved into the community and networking (so I'm around judges, rule changers, etc.), so if I had telepathy I'd definitely glean information from the thoughts of others, like stocks and finances since I'm doing it the hard way now and have to study and on how to better my life and finances so I can better the lives of others if that makes any sense. Add telekinesis to that and I'm going to the casino to get a little something extra, but not too much to make a scene. And I'm not living with all those people in the mansion and having to see them everyday. I have really good friends that I don't even want to see everyday.
Ok I've gotten off on a tangent um yay go X-men?!!!
are you being serious? her being a ninja was brought up in this thread, which is why my question was brought up in this thread. i don't even think you know what you are arguing about at this point lol.
but cute how you tried to redirect the discussion to what thread i should post in after you were proven wrong. with that said, let's move on shall we?

This review basically nails it: https://womenwriteaboutcomics.com/20...-x-men-uhhhhh/ Hope the second issue has a bit more flair to it
Nice review, particularly this part:
"It also feels tone deaf to still portray, in 2018, characters like the MLF as one-dimensional punching bags when their goal is… stopping the scientists and politicians who want to commit actual genocide."
Microwaved leftovers was a succinct takeaway.
