They need to capitalize on her reformed body first and then give her a break. They keep trying to make her an emotionless female wolverine that will kill without remorse and have a null express and be all angsty...that isn't who she is. Remender & Soule took the life out of her character and someone needs to put that back in.

I don't have a problem with Remender's take on Betsy since it went along with the theme of his book but there was no reason to keep going down that road especially the other characters in his possession went back to their regular schedule.

wrong thread. This one is asking which characters that you dont want to see in 2019. Basically the ones that should recieve little to no focus

Glob is aesthetically compelling and beautiful, best represents the body horror potential of mutants, and is a loser Reggie Mantle type who can bounce off of other people in fun ways. He is too good to be wallpaper, and has been more interesting as a supporting character than most of the older, iconic characters who are on actual teams. (Which isn't a problem with him, it's a problem with the line.)

Glob's love life and how that's supposed to work is a more interesting plotline than anything in Gold or anything that cast was doing.

Body Horror Reggie Mantle is such a good character concept but we're stuck with She-verine's spin the bottle of impossibly good looking teenthrobs.

Most of these characters don't really need a break IMO. I think OML is a goner or something, so I don't think he'll be hogging anything.

I voted other. Emma/Cyclops don't need that big of a focus. They still need to cool off, and don't need to be central to the stories.

I think X-23 needs a serious push in 2019 she’s one of very few female X-Men capable of maintaining a solo title. Hopefully those fans jealous of that don’t hate on her too much. Aside from Laura everyone can use a break let’s have all new characters in 2019 a fresh start with all new x-men.

They are overexposed.
And that hurts line-up diversity. For instance, Nightcrawler and Storm being in both Gold and Red means not twn but four spots taken in teams while other characters are in limbo.
And often overexposition leads to characters being bad and boring because writers don't know what to do with them anymore.
This results in Beast being ruined, Angel being blue/pink/blue/good/evil/good/metal/feather, Iceman learning his true potential every 5 years, Xavier having a dark secret revealed every 5 years too...
